Director-actor Sundar C clarifies that his next film, ‘Aindham Padai’, which is about five brothers and their relationship, does not have shades of the recently released ‘Mayandi Kudumbathar’.

“When I start my films, I try to take on a theme that hasn’t been explored in the last five years. That was how we did ‘Ullathai Allitha’, because such a mindless comedy wasn’t popular at the time it was made. It was with that idea that I said yes to director Badri’s ‘Aindham Padai’, which is about five brothers,” says Sundar C, who plays hero in the film. “But the film has been delayed for release and has come out after ‘Mayandi Kudumbathar’, which was also about brothers. I can assure you that the film has no shades to that flick.”

Simran plays a completely negative role in this film, while Devayani is also playing an important role. Vivek’s comedy track is one of his best, assures director Badri, who had earlier directed ‘Veerappu’.
